IndyCar: Will Power felt good after testing the new racing cars

Izod IndyCar Series will star power's first time back in IndyCar, since the terrible accident on October 16 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, went without a hitch. Power, who suffered a compression fracture in lower back after his car went off the air and hit the wall at turn-two LVMS, tested IndyCar's new-to-2012 Dallara chassis with Chevrolet engines on Monday at Barber Motorsports Park near Birmingham, Alabama the hearing continues on Tuesday.

Team Penske power, who finished second in this year's Dario Franchitti, Dallara racers said the new chassis has significantly more grip, allowing for a round of three-tenths of a second faster than the lap pole winner in April (1 minute, 11.4546 seconds).
